Key Responsibilities
As the Executive Housekeeper & Sustainability Leader at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, you will:
- Lead the Housekeeping, Laundry, Horticulture, Minibar, and Décor teams to deliver impeccable guest experiences.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all housekeeping functions.
- Oversee quality control inspections to maintain luxury housekeeping standards.
- Manage sustainability initiatives, including eco-friendly housekeeping practices and waste management.
- Collaborate with the Director of Engineering for property maintenance and spring-cleaning schedules.
- Supervise outside contractors and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
- Conduct team briefings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget while optimizing operational costs.
- Monitor and control inventories of linens, operating equipment, and guest supplies.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S, fire safety, and emergency protocols.
- Log and address all security incidents, guest complaints, and accidents in line with Accor standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role at Accor Fairmont Udaipur Palace, you should bring:
- Minimum 15 years of luxury resort experience, including 3+ years in a senior housekeeping role.
- Strong expertise in pre-opening hotel operations, remote location assignments, and large-scale hotel management.
- Proven ability to lead multi-departmental teams (Housekeeping, Laundry, Horticulture, Sustainability).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of budget management, auditing standards, and sustainability initiatives.
- Indian nationality is a must for eligibility.
