Key Responsibilities
As Director of Finance at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, you will:
- Lead and manage the hotel’s finance team, ensuring compliance with Accor standards.
- Partner with the General Manager and ownership group to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Analyze financial information including revenue trends, expenditures, commitments, and forecasts.
- Oversee and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Build and implement the hotel’s business plan, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Accor’s financial control guidelines.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure sustainable, quality sourcing at optimal pricing.
- Manage stock positions and financial risks to support operational needs.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in remote locations and pre-opening environments.
- Deep understanding of the Udaipur hospitality market (preferred).
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a luxury resort/hotel as Director of Finance or equivalent.
- Experience in pre-opening hotels and remote, high-volume properties is desirable.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible for this position.
