Key Responsibilities
As a Deployment Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient release and deployment cycles:
- Identify, assess, and manage risks in deployment activities.
- Track release progress against schedules and report status to stakeholders.
- Support Project/Product Managers in planning each release.
- Ensure release controls are well-documented and followed across teams.
- Validate deployment architecture and infrastructure for stability and scalability.
- Create detailed deployment and backout plans to minimize risks.
- Coordinate and review stakeholder communications for each deployment.
- Continuously improve deployment processes by identifying automation opportunities.
- Validate packaging and integration of products before release.
- Conduct release retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Optimize and adjust build and deployment pipelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in release management, deployment engineering, or DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps pipelines (Build & Release).
- Basic knowledge of Python (beneficial).
- Familiarity with project management fundamentals.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in global hybrid teams.
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting solutions.
