Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, and microwaves safely.
- Prepare cold foods and test food to ensure proper cooking and quality.
- Serve food in correct portions and maintain aesthetically pleasing presentation.
Kitchen Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check and monitor appliance and food temperatures.
- Follow all company safety and security protocols; report unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
Team Collaboration & Communication
- Support and collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and peers.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen efficiency and smooth operations.
Physical & Operational Requirements
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Bend, twist, pull, stoop, and reach overhead or below knees.
- Lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in culinary preparation or kitchen operations.
- High attention to detail, hygiene, and food quality standards.
