Key Responsibilities
- Lead GDS engagements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of assigned tasks.
- Review procedures performed by GDS staff and ensure compliance with EY Global Audit Methodology (GAM).
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with global assurance teams in Americas and Europe.
- Embed EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into daily engagement work.
- Allocate resources, monitor workflow, and manage operational performance, including utilization and budget tracking.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement scope and review processes, leveraging best practices.
- Mentor and motivate team members, provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and global teams, ensuring clarity in reporting and presentations.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, UK GAAP, or US GAAP is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards and deadlines.
- Strong project management, leadership, and team-coaching abilities.
- Demonstrates professionalism, agility, and a positive work culture mindset.
Qualifications
- Freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
- 0–1 year of practical experience in assurance, audit, or related financial services.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.
- Interest in business operations, commercial acumen, and accounting standards.
