Key Responsibilities
Engagement Management
- Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Allocate resources and monitor performance against EY GAM and global standards.
- Standardize review processes and leverage best practices across engagements.
Client & Team Collaboration
- Build and maintain productive relationships with EY global assurance teams across Americas and Europe.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with GDS and global stakeholders.
- Motivate, coach, and supervise team members while identifying key talent.
Assurance & Compliance
- Apply technical knowledge to interpret accounting standards and reviews.
- Ensure embedding of EY Quality and Risk Management procedures into team deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to enhance scope of work and engagement efficiency.
Operational Excellence
- Manage engagement budgets, monitor utilization, and track operational metrics.
- Provide performance feedback and training to team members.
- Contribute to a positive work culture, fostering collaboration and adherence to EY values.
Skills & Attributes
- Knowledge of Indian Accounting & Assurance Standards; familiarity with IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, and international review standards is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Effective in project management, leadership, coaching, and risk management.
- Ability to form strong relationships with colleagues across India and global teams.
- Demonstrates professionalism, positivity, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Freshly Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
- 0–1 year of experience in Assurance / Audit.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Interest in business, finance, and commercial awareness.
