Responsibilities
As a Consultant – IT Assurance & Audit at Deloitte India, your role will include:
- Conducting audits across ITGC, ITAC, SOX/ICFR/IFC, SSAE, SOC, and IT financial controls.
- Reviewing and assessing ERP applications (SAP, OFIN, JDE, etc.) for native control effectiveness.
- Assisting clients in identifying and mitigating business & technology risks.
- Leading or supporting projects aligned with regulatory standards such as PCI, ISO 27001, SSAE, ISAE, SOX.
- Implementing IT risk consulting frameworks including COSO and COBIT.
- Managing teams and ensuring high-quality client deliverables.
- Participating in project planning, billing, proposals, and client presentations.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, exceeding expectations.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), SOX compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and automated business controls.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven team management and leadership abilities.
- Ability to leverage technology-based tools and methodologies for audit processes.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or MBA in Finance/IT.
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO27001.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in IT audits, risk consulting, or compliance frameworks is essential.
