Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant – IT Assurance Audit at Deloitte, you will:
- Conduct IT audits, ITGC, SOX/ICFR/IFC, SSAE, SOC1 & SOC2 reviews, and compliance audits.
- Evaluate business and technology risks and identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
- Review and implement IT financial audit processes and business-automated controls.
- Assist in developing audit methodologies, approaches, and tools tailored to client needs.
- Apply knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics) and related controls.
- Work with clients on risk management, compliance assessments, and IT governance.
- Participate in proposal development, client engagement, and add-on service opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver projects efficiently and exceed client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related fields; CA/MBA (Finance/IT) accepted.
- Experience: 1–8 years in IT assurance, ITGC, SOX/ICFR/SOC, IT risk consulting, or compliance audits.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, COSO, COBIT).
- Hands-on expertise with ERP controls in SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with business process reviews (P2P, O2C, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting).
- Exposure to emerging technologies such as Cloud, RPA, and AI/ML.
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Team management experience is mandatory.
Preferred Certifications
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor).
