Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable blockchain solutions on private/permissioned platforms (Ethereum, Quorum, Hyperledger Fabric)
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components using open-source technologies like NodeJS
- Integrate blockchain nodes with application layers to ensure transaction integrity and seamless data flow
- Manage the full blockchain application lifecycle, including smart contracts, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring systems for application and node health
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, front-end developers, and security teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade solutions
- Stay updated with emerging blockchain technologies and trends
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using open-source technologies
- Hands-on experience in smart contract/chaincode development and deployment
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of blockchain consensus mechanisms, identity management, and network governance
- Experience with RESTful API design, middleware integration, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with NoSQL/SQL databases for off-chain data storage
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of encryption, digital signatures, and zero-knowledge proofs
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices
- Background in regulated environments, especially government technology
