L&T is hiring an experienced Construction Manager – E&I for its Water & Effluent Treatment projects in Riyadh. This role is ideal for candidates with 15–20 years of experience in E&I construction, instrumentation, SCADA, DCS, PLC systems, and commissioning. The role focuses on managing electrical panels, VFDs, LV panels, instrumentation installation, subcontractor coordination, testing, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities
- Lead E&I construction activities, including electrical panels, VFDs, LV panels, and instrumentation installation.
- Manage SCADA, DCS, PLC systems, ensuring smooth testing and commissioning.
- Supervise multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Review subcontractor method statements to ensure compliance with contract and project standards.
- Conduct preliminary inspections and clear client punch lists prior to handover.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines throughout construction and commissioning phases.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, progress reports, and technical records.
- Provide solutions for technical challenges and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven expertise in E&I construction, instrumentation, SCADA, DCS, PLC, and testing & commissioning.
- Strong project management, vendor coordination, and subcontractor supervision skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, issue resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in water treatment, sewage treatment, RO, and desalination projects is preferred.
- Ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams in a complex project environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (B.E).
- 15–20 years of experience in E&I construction, commissioning, and project management.
- Hands-on experience with WTP, STP, RO/Desalination, and industrial automation systems.
