Key Responsibilities

As a Chinese Procurement Subject Matter Expert at Flex, your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Managing purchase orders for raw materials and components.
• Reviewing requisitions and MRP output to place, reschedule, or cancel orders.
• Tracking shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders and warehouses.
• Conducting regular stock checks and minimizing risks of overstock or obsolescence.
• Reviewing and approving supplier invoices for payment.
• Managing procurement records, costs, delivery schedules, and inventory.
• Performing quarterly supplier reviews and performance evaluations.
• Handling procurement documentation, claims, and data privacy compliance.
• Monitoring material movement through the production cycle.
• Providing language expertise in Chinese to support procurement activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

• Proficiency in Chinese (Read, Write, Speak) – Mandatory.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply technical/business documentation.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills (percentages, proportions, geometry, algebra).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Chinese and English.
• Ability to handle complex procurement processes with multiple variables.

Preferred

• Prior experience in global procurement and supplier negotiations.
• Exposure to manufacturing or supply chain environments.
