Key Responsibilities
Culinary Operations & Standards
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation standards are met.
- Develop, design, and implement new menu items and culinary applications.
- Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain accurate food logs, inventory, and production records.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance.
- Coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and cross-training initiatives.
- Lead by example, performing culinary tasks while managing the team.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and collaboration.
Guest Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage teams to optimize menu offerings and service standards.
Budget & Operational Management
- Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and purchasing of ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with financial goals.
- Assist in capital expenditure planning and kitchen improvements.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent culinary knowledge and creativity, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in kitchen operations, menu planning, and inventory management.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in culinary, food & beverage, or related operations.
- Proven leadership and kitchen management experience.
- Certification/licensing as required by local regulations (if applicable).
