Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and manage a team of 6-7 members, including graduates and experienced professionals.
- Monitor and motivate the team to ensure high-quality deliverables within SLA timelines.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and timely feedback to improve team performance.
Audit Execution & Client Engagement
- Perform audit procedures and tests on allocated client engagements.
- Audit complex sections of financial statements per Cayman Islands statutory requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and onshore teams to update progress and address issues.
- Identify missing information or issues, track resolutions, and ensure compliance with KPMG’s risk management policies.
Knowledge Sharing & Process Improvement
- Share expertise and enhance technical knowledge within the team.
- Support professional development and training of junior team members.
- Uphold audit quality standards and adherence to KPMG methodologies.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in financial audits and accounting standards.
- Strong team leadership and supervision skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with audit tools and MS Office applications.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountancy (CA/ACCA) qualification is required.
- 1-3 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a Big 4 audit environment.
- Exposure to international audits or financial services clients is a plus.
