Key Responsibilities
🧾 Cost Control & Budgeting
- Prepare and manage project budgets, comparing budgeted vs. actual costs.
- Monitor construction and material cost statements and align with timelines.
- Prepare cost-to-complete (CTC) reports and update budget provisions.
🔍 Site Supervision & Quantity Verification
- Conduct on-site supervision, ensuring quality and adherence to project drawings.
- Perform quantity take-offs and verify actual work done.
- Update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) as per executed work.
💼 Billing & Contractor Payments
- Certify RA bills, final bills, and extra item claims.
- Track and manage SAP bill bookings, billing TATs, and booking statuses.
- Coordinate bill certification, ensuring on-time and accurate payments.
🧾 Contracts & Documentation
- Review work orders, rates, and scope of work compliance.
- Support tender and contract management, including change requests and clarifications.
- Handle all commercial documentation aligned with project processes.
🛒 Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with the Central Procurement Team for vendor selection and PO/WOs.
- Process purchase/service requisitions in SAP, ensuring alignment with execution plans.
- Monitor material movement and free-issue supplies with stores/vendors.
📊 Reporting & MIS
- Generate MIS reports (billing summaries, PO/WO, recoveries, BGs, etc.).
- Maintain project tracking sheets and documentation for audits and future planning.
- Ensure complete closure of work orders with supporting documentation.
👥 Team Support & Leadership
- Mentor junior QS staff and support teams on billing best practices.
- Monitor team adherence to standard commercial protocols and reporting frameworks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
- Experience: 6–12 years in real estate or infrastructure projects.
- Key Tools: SAP, MS Excel, billing software, AutoCAD (desirable).
