Key Responsibilities

As an AWS DevOps Consultant at Deloitte, your role will involve:

1. AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Deploy and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and assist with troubleshooting using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Runners.
• Ensure continuous integration and delivery of cloud-based applications in a scalable and efficient manner.

3. Security and Automation

• Apply AWS security best practices by managing IAM roles, policies, security groups, and encryption settings.
• Write and maintain automation scripts for routine operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

4. Containerization and Deployment

• Work with Docker and AWS ECS/EKS for container-based deployments and orchestration.
• Support container management and deployment in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

5. Disaster Recovery and Monitoring

• Assist in implementing disaster recovery plans and backup processes for critical cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in logging and monitoring activities using platforms such as CloudWatch Logs and ELK stack.

Desired Qualifications

To succeed as an AWS DevOps Consultant at Deloitte, you should have:

• 2-5 years of experience in AWS DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC).
• Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and basic networking concepts.
• A collaborative, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
