Key Responsibilities
As Assistant Vice President – Reporting, your role will involve:
- Producing accurate capital adequacy metrics as per Basel III and CRDIV regulations.
- Managing daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting for capital ratios, leverage ratios, RWA, and settlement risks.
- Ensuring compliance with regional regulatory returns and GAAP standards.
- Conducting large exposure calculations and analyzing RWA movements to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborating with Risk Management, IT, Operations, Legal Entity Controllers, and Legal teams.
- Defining business requirements for IT implementations and process improvements.
- Using BI tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) to develop daily management information reports.
- Responding to senior management queries with actionable financial insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, capital adequacy, or financial reporting.
- Strong expertise in Basel III rules, CRDIV, and capital management frameworks.
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with risk-weighted assets (RWA), market risk, settlement risk, and CVA risk.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and BI tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work with global finance teams.
