Key Responsibilities
Audit & Compliance
- Perform audits of financial statements in compliance with country-specific statutory requirements.
- Review international company financials for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legislative and accounting standards.
- Identify discrepancies, gaps, or inconsistencies in financial reporting.
Collaboration & Communication
- Build strong relationships with onshore and offshore team members across multiple locations.
- Provide timely updates and reports to audit leads and managers.
Process Improvement
- Assist in standardizing and streamlining audit processes.
- Contribute to efficiency improvements using best practices and automation wherever possible.
Skills & Competencies
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with Adobe Professional (preferred).
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and NIST SP 800-53 frameworks is desirable.
- Exposure to audit of financial statements and working within a Big 4 professional services environment.
