Job Summary
Deloitte is hiring an Associate Vice President (AVP) – Delivery to lead and drive excellence in Record to Report (R2R) Finance Transformation within its Business Process Solutions (BPS) practice. This leadership role involves managing complex finance transformation engagements, delivering high-value outcomes for global clients, and driving operational efficiency and digital adoption in the R2R space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale R2R finance transformation projects within BPS.
- Drive process standardization, optimization, and automation across financial close, consolidation, and reporting cycles.
- Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify opportunities for transformation in R2R.
- Oversee service delivery excellence by ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
- Lead teams to deliver on operational performance and build future-ready finance capabilities.
- Collaborate with technology teams to integrate ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and emerging technologies (RPA, AI/ML, analytics).
- Mentor and develop finance transformation teams, enabling career growth and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent master’s degree.
- Experience: 15+ years in Finance Transformation / Shared Services / Global Business Services (GBS) with a strong focus on Record to Report.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of financial close, consolidation, statutory & management reporting, and compliance frameworks.
- Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and program delivery skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in BPS / outsourcing / consulting roles with exposure to global clients.
- Experience with digital finance transformation including RPA, AI/ML, analytics, and cloud ERP platforms.
- Proven ability to scale teams, manage global stakeholders, and deliver transformation at enterprise scale.
