Deloitte India is hiring an Associate Director – Legal Review for its NAT Delivery Excellence team. This is a senior-level opportunity for experienced professionals with 12–18 years of legal contract management, compliance, and delivery excellence experience. You’ll work with global clients, lead legal risk assessments, review contracts (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs), and support business teams with actionable legal strategies.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Director in Legal Review, you will be responsible for:
📑 Contract Review & Legal Advisory
- Draft and review legal documents including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, subcontractor agreements, and consortium/JV agreements.
- Analyze contractual terms and identify legal risks and compliance issues.
- Modify client-provided contracts and respond to counter-party revisions on standard templates.
- Interpret and draft contractual clauses in collaboration with client-facing teams.
⚖️ Risk Mitigation & Negotiation
- Support negotiation efforts by recommending alternative clauses to reduce legal exposure.
- Assist in the development of Risk Mitigation Plans.
- Provide legal support in contractual closeout, amendments, and change orders.
📋 Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare executive summaries, exception reports, and key contract highlights.
- Track and manage contractual obligations, deliverables, and risk exposure.
- Monitor updates in law, court rulings, and arbitration amendments relevant to engagements.
📚 Training & Compliance
- Deliver training sessions for new joiners on contractual compliance and legal best practices.
- Ensure internal policy changes are reflected in contract templates and documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Law degree from a recognized institution; LLB/LLM preferred.
- 12–18 years of experience in contract review, legal risk assessment, or delivery excellence.
- Proven ability to work with international clients across multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- Expertise in reviewing complex legal documents and suggesting practical legal solutions.
- Strong stakeholder communication and client negotiation skills.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.
