Key Responsibilities
As Associate Director – Accounting & Reporting Assurance, you will:
- Lead and deliver Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP-based financial reporting engagements.
- Review and prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Guide teams in handling complex technical accounting issues and internal controls over financial reporting.
- Provide advisory support on SOX, COSO frameworks, and internal control systems.
- Manage large data volumes, analyze results, and present insights using Excel, Tableau, Power BI.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance client engagement and firm growth.
- Train, coach, and develop teams to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities.
Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate should have:
- Expert knowledge of Ind AS with strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Experience in preparing compliant financial statements and consolidations.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, S4 HANA, or MS Dynamics.
- Strong data handling and analysis skills with Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive and result-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel as per engagement requirements.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (within 4 attempts).
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit assurance, or financial reporting advisory.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage client relationships.
