PwC India is hiring an Associate Consultant in Quality Engineering (QE) for its Advisory – Corporate Services team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on software and product innovation, automation testing, and business application quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience in Selenium automation, Cypress, Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, with hands-on exposure to API testing, Jenkins, automation frameworks, and agile environments. The Associate will contribute to developing and enhancing automation frameworks, performing API and functional testing, and ensuring high-quality software deliverables, helping clients optimize operational efficiency and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant – Quality Engineering, you will:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for software applications.
- Automate APIs and Restful web services using scripting languages and automation tools.
- Configure and execute Jenkins jobs and TestNG test cases.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues effectively, ensuring high-quality software releases.
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, and SQL queries for robust test designs.
- Utilize browser developer tools, Kibana, and CloudWatch for monitoring and logs (nice-to-have).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
- Expertise in Selenium with Cypress, Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Strong logical programming and debugging skills.
- Experience in automation framework development.
- Hands-on experience in API testing, Restful web services, and Jenkins integration.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and relational databases/SQL queries.
- Experience in manual functional/regression/integration testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with robot framework.
- Familiarity with Cypress and fast-paced agile environments.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
