KPMG Global Services (KGS) is looking for an Assistant Manager – UK Global Mobility Services to join our dynamic tax and compliance team in Bangalore. In this role, you will manage global mobility engagements, including expatriate tax compliance, equalizations, payroll, and advisory services. You will lead teams, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality tax services to expatriate employees, enhancing your expertise in international taxation and global mobility programs. This position is ideal for professionals with 4–5 years of experience in Big 4 firms and a strong background in expatriate taxation.

Key Responsibilities
Global Mobility & Tax Compliance
- Lead client engagements from planning to execution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage expatriate tax returns, equalizations, and payroll for UK-based global mobility employees.
- Apply technical expertise in expatriate taxation, compensation, and payroll compliance.
- Conduct tax research and advisory work to support client-specific needs.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff to enhance technical knowledge and performance.
- Oversee resource allocation, workflow, and team utilization.
- Support the Manager in engagement reporting, proposals, and client pursuits.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
Project & Client Management
- Ensure high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage people performance, development, and feedback.
- Maintain timely communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and advisory skills in global mobility and expatriate taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tax compliance tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and project management skills.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certifications: Enrolled Agent Certification required.
- Experience: 4–5 years in tax compliance or global mobility roles, preferably in a Big 4 consulting firm.
