Role Overview
As a Financial Due Diligence Assistant Manager, you will support transaction diligence, execution, and reporting for various mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs. You will work closely with senior leadership and global clients, helping evaluate business performance, financial risks, and strategic fit during live deal transactions.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of financial statements, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to interpret complex data in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of target companies’ financials including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows.
- Review and interpret information memoranda, business plans, and public financial records.
- Analyze projections and evaluate underlying financial assumptions.
- Produce high-quality deliverables such as:
- Financial models and sensitivity analysis in Excel
- Presentations and reports in PowerPoint
- Identify key risks, red flags, and price-sensitive information during transaction reviews.
- Participate in cross-border transactions and multi-industry engagements, including IPO readiness and M&A advisory.
- Liaise with senior consultants, directors, and clients on financial insights and reporting requirements.
- Maintain timelines and ensure accuracy and integrity in all deliverables.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in financial due diligence (FDD) and transaction analysis.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and French.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to process large volumes of financial data.
- Understanding of M&A, IPOs, private equity, and capital market transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- 4–6 years of experience in transaction services, corporate finance, or financial advisory.
- Fluency in French is mandatory.
- Prior experience with cross-border financial reporting is a strong advantage.
