Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Strategy at EY, you will:
- Conduct market research, qualitative & quantitative analysis to solve complex client challenges.
- Collaborate with onshore partners and client teams to manage day-to-day project execution.
- Prepare and deliver clear reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients.
- Lead commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and portfolio strategy engagements.
- Contribute to business development, client relationship management, and advisory growth.
- Support sector-focused practice building across EY service lines.
- Develop intellectual capital and frameworks in commercial due diligence and strategy.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Strong experience in industry research, macroeconomic analysis, and market profiling.
- Knowledge of key sectors such as Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, or Energy Transition.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with databases like Thomson, CapIQ, Factiva.
- Ability to deliver independent analysis and client-ready slides.
Qualifications
- MBA from a recognized institution.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting and commercial due diligence.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and programming knowledge in VBA or Python (preferred).
