Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maximizing revenue and profitability from banquets, meetings, and events through proactive sales and efficient pricing strategies.
- Support the Conference and Events Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales techniques, calendars, and strategies.
- Ensure team members possess comprehensive knowledge of event services, pricing policies, and vendor guidelines.
- Oversee the onboarding and continuous development of the Conference and Events Team, working in coordination with Human Resources.
- Maintain high operational standards in line with Hilton’s brand policies and procedures.
- Promote a consistent communication process, ensuring monthly team meetings with documented minutes.
- Drive vendor relations, ensuring fair pricing and service consistency for all booking channels.
- Supervise the recruitment, training, and development of Conference and Events team members.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and Hilton operational policies.
- Actively contribute to team performance management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sales in hospitality events and banquets.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Effective conflict resolution and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Proficient in IT tools including MS Office and Property Management Systems.
- Positive, motivated attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically in banquet sales or conference and events management.
- Solid understanding of hospitality industry trends and market knowledge.
