Key Responsibilities
- Ensure GST compliance for clients, including timely filing of returns and assessments.
- Conduct GST incidence reviews and internal audit support for diverse clients.
- Handle GST queries from internal and external stakeholders efficiently.
- Coordinate with tax authorities for registrations, approvals, audits, and investigations.
- Prepare, file, and process GST refunds accurately.
- Perform GST audits and provide technical research on critical GST issues.
- Assist in implementing tax recommendations and advisory services to optimize GST incidence.
- Benchmark practices against industry standards to enhance compliance efficiency and financial benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and implement GST strategies.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of GST laws and indirect taxation principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and tax research tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and quality focus.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred with 0–2 years of experience in Indirect Taxation / GST.
- Graduate or Postgraduate in commerce or related field is desirable.
- Prior exposure to tax audits, compliance management, and client advisory.
