Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Finance Advisory at KPMG India, you will:
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure statutory compliance and maintain audit readiness for national and international clients.
- Support GAAP convergence initiatives and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Implement, monitor, and strengthen internal control systems across client engagements.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide insightful financial advisory solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on financial reporting, compliance, and advisory tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Proven experience in finance advisory, accounting, and compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, GAAP convergence, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools, accounting software, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced advisory environment.
Desirable:
- Exposure to multisector clients including BFSI, Manufacturing, and IT/ITES sectors.
- Experience in audit readiness and internal control implementation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage teams.
