Key Responsibilities
As an EY Assistant Director – TSE (Bengaluru), your role will include:
- Leading end-to-end execution of post-deal integration and separation engagements.
- Driving Day 1 readiness, synergy assessment, standalone costing, operating models, TSAs, and project governance.
- Managing large multi-functional M&A teams across onshore and GDS operations.
- Conducting sector and deal analysis to identify value drivers and risks.
- Developing SOPs, playbooks, methodologies, and tools for integration and carve-out execution.
- Building and nurturing strong client relationships globally, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Leading business development initiatives, RFPs, and proposal writing.
- Mentoring, coaching, and conducting performance reviews for TSE professionals.
- Promoting technology adoption on engagements (PowerBI, Smartsheets, Power Query, Python, etc.).
- Collaborating with EY offices across geographies to share knowledge and best practices.
Skills & Attributes for Success
- Strong knowledge of the M&A lifecycle, integration, separation, and cross-border transactions.
- Experience across multiple sectors such as Life Sciences, Industrials, Energy, TMT, Consumer Products, and Healthcare.
- Ability to link operational analysis with financial outcomes.
- Proven skills in problem solving, project management, and executive communication.
- High executive presence with networking and negotiation expertise.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Preferred: Knowledge of PowerBI, Smartsheets, Power Query, Python, and automation tools.
Qualifications
To qualify for the EY Assistant Director – TSE role, you must have:
- Postgraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science from a premier institute.
- 10–12 years of consulting or industry experience in M&A lifecycle, integration, separation, and cross-border deals.
- Willingness to travel internationally based on client needs.
