Summary

Kroll is seeking a skilled Analyst in Valuation Services to join its Mumbai office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex valuation engagements across diverse industries, supporting financial reporting, tax compliance, and corporate finance projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in constructing and reviewing valuation models, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in financial modeling tools. This position provides exposure to best practices, valuation methodologies, and client-facing responsibilities in a dynamic global advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Valuation & Financial Analysis

• Perform valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities across various industries using accepted methodologies.
• Construct and review financial models such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable company, market transaction, stock option, and intangible asset models.
• Gather and verify data from clients, including on-site visits and face-to-face interactions.
• Report and present analytical findings in written reports, presentations, and client deliverables.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

• Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and publications.
• Work closely with management to maintain and develop client relationships.
• Identify potential engagements, draft engagement letters, and manage administrative responsibilities such as code creation, reporting, and invoicing.

Process & Compliance

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial and valuation analyses.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive client and company information.
• Support the development and refinement of valuation industry standards and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA; professional certifications like CFA, ACCA, CPA, CA are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in constructing and reviewing valuation models and financial models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain high ethical standards.
