Summary

EY is hiring an Analyst in Transfer Pricing for its Consumer & Health Sciences (CHS) Tax – ITTS team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for a qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA/PGDM professional with expertise in Indian Income-tax Act, transfer pricing compliance, and international tax advisory. The successful candidate will support global and domestic clients, prepare Master File and Country-by-Country reports, provide technical opinions, and work on Advanced Pricing Agreements (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP). About the Role

As an Analyst – Transfer Pricing, you will support CHS sector clients in Consumer Products and Health Sciences, performing transfer pricing compliance, advisory work, and technical research. You will work with global tax teams to provide insights, prepare documentation, and assist in filings, audits, and dispute resolution. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct transfer pricing compliance including Master File and Country-by-Country report preparation.
  • Draft and vet agreements, reports, and submissions for clients.
  • Provide technical advisory on Indian and international tax matters.
  • Undertake APA/MAP applications, DRP applications, and appeals before CIT(A)/ITAT.
  • Read and analyze double taxation avoidance agreements, OECD/UN guidelines.
  • Research and provide technical opinions on complex tax issues.
  • Collaborate with client teams to solve technical problems and deliver actionable insights.
  • Develop specialized knowledge to become a recognized technical resource within ITTS.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of Indian Income-tax Act and Transfer Pricing regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools; tax compliance software is a plus.
  • Analytical and research-driven mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across client departments and work with global teams.
  • Agile, curious, and adaptable with a problem-solving approach.
  • Effective communication skills to draft reports and present findings.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Postgraduate degree (MBA/PGDM) from a reputed institute preferred.
  • Preferable experience in international tax, transfer pricing, and statutory compliance.
