Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Analyst at Flex, your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Placing purchase orders for raw materials and production parts.
• Reviewing, modifying, and updating purchase orders based on production plan changes.
• Tracking shipments and ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Conducting weekly inventory checks to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Reducing risk of obsolescence through proactive inventory monitoring.
• Coordinating with freight forwarders and warehouses for material movement.
• Managing supplier claims and resolving debit/credit issues.
• Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Handling procurement documentation and ensuring data privacy.
• Managing procurement records such as cost, delivery, and supplier performance.
• Conducting quarterly supplier reviews and performance assessments.
• Monitoring the movement of materials through the production cycle.
• Approving invoices and supporting financial accuracy in procurement.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry tools.
• Strong numerical skills (percentages, discounts, interest, algebra, and geometry).
• Excellent communication skills – ability to present information clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to handle complex procurement issues.
• Ability to maintain accurate procurement records and support audits.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement best practices.
