Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and enhancing SAP cloud applications using Java, Node.js, and ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) / RAP frameworks.
- Support development of cloud-native SAP solutions leveraging SAP BTP services.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop, test, debug, and troubleshoot applications built on Java, Node.js, and ABAP RAP.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and industry best practices.
- Assist in integrating SAP cloud applications with other SAP modules and third-party enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation: technical specs, user guides, and development processes.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP cloud technologies, Java development practices, and Node.js frameworks.
Required Skills and Expertise
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience in software development using Java, Node.js, or ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) / RAP.
- Basic understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud-native development.
- Familiarity with SAP RAP framework and ABAP in the cloud environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication, plus ability to work in collaborative teams.
- Willingness to learn emerging SAP cloud technologies and best development practices.
- SAP Certification in ABAP Cloud or related technologies is a plus.
