Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst – Procurement (GBS), your day-to-day activities will include:
- Performing administrative tasks related to purchasing and procurement operations.
- Maintaining accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, logs, and related documentation.
- Entering and updating procurement data across business and ERP systems.
- Assisting with order expediting, vendor communication, and delivery scheduling.
- Preparing requests for quotations (RFQs) and coordinating pricing revisions.
- Managing order cancellations, substitutions, and delivery date changes.
- Reviewing standardized reports to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Supporting purchase order negotiations, maintenance, and follow-ups.
- Tracking shipments and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Assisting with supplier contract development and participating in strategic reviews.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Secondary school, vocational training, or equivalent education.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage vendor interactions and resolve procurement/logistics issues.
- Proficiency in using business systems, supplier portals, and procurement tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in supplier negotiations or contract management.
- Familiarity with global procurement practices.
- Knowledge of shipping, customs documentation, and ERP systems.
