Summary
Kroll is looking for a highly motivated Analyst in Financial Instruments & Technology to join its Alternative Asset Advisory and Complex Securities Valuation team in New Delhi. This role is ideal for early-career professionals (0–1 year experience) seeking exposure to alternative asset valuation, structured securities, and advanced financial modeling. As a Kroll Analyst, you will work on illiquid securities and complex financial instruments, supporting hedge funds, private equity, banks, insurers, and investment firms globally. This position offers hands-on experience with DCF, market multiple, structured investment models, and advanced analytics using Python, VBA, and Power BI while collaborating with international valuation teams.

Key Responsibilities
Alternative Asset Valuation
- Conduct valuation analysis for illiquid investments and complex securities across various industries and geographies.
- Design and review financial models for DCF, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing analyses.
- Compile statistical summaries and financial ratios for portfolio companies and structured assets.
Client Interaction & Project Support
- Assist in client interviews and data collection, preparing information requests and participating in meetings.
- Review investment memoranda, governing documents, and board presentations for structured investments.
- Report and present analyses and findings to internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
Technical & Professional Development
- Develop deep technical expertise in alternative asset valuation and structured securities.
- Gain exposure to esoteric investment structures and support high-profile client engagements.
- Attend industry events to broaden knowledge of alternative asset markets.
Skills & Qualifications
- CA, CFA, Master’s in Finance/Accounting/Economics, or MBA from an accredited institution.
- 0–1 year of experience in valuation, structured securities, or alternative assets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, including working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with financial statements, accounting standards, and valuation methodologies.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of VBA, Python, Power BI, and Excel is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently.
