Key Responsibilities
As an EIS Applications Analyst / WebMethods Administrator, your daily tasks will include:
- Managing incidents to completion with proper documentation and closure.
- Performing problem analysis and resolution for application/system issues.
- Handling high availability setups, upgrades, and migrations of applications.
- Conducting system optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Executing backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.
- Automating system health checks and housekeeping processes.
- Performing troubleshooting, thread dump analysis, and log analysis.
- Supporting hybrid cloud environments with distributed systems and services.
- Coordinating with cross-functional IT teams for incident response and monitoring.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 4–7 years of experience as an Application/System Administrator.
- Strong expertise in WebMethods administration (Integration Server, My WebMethods Server, Universal Messaging, Terracotta, Command Central).
- Proficiency with MySQL databases, Linux platforms, Docker, ERP systems.
- Experience in application upgrades, migrations, high availability setups.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting, LDAP, clustering, JMS, JDBC, auto-deployment.
- Familiarity with Web Security, PKI, SSL certificates, and communication protocols (HTTP/S, FTP, SFTP).
- Exposure to EDI (RosettaNet, EDIFACT, X12), SOAPUI, Wireshark, Putty, or similar middleware.
Preferred:
- Experience with Mulesoft, RabbitMQ, DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Elasticsearch) and incident response platforms (ServiceNow).
- Programming/scripting knowledge; contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
- Additional certifications or MOOCs in IT/cloud/middleware technologies.
