EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is seeking a detail-oriented Advanced Analyst in US and Non-US direct tax compliance to join the Bengaluru team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of tax compliance across US and foreign jurisdictions (excluding indirect and payroll taxes).
- Support income tax provision preparation for US GAAP purposes (quarterly and annual).
- Prepare statutory tax provisions per local GAAP with coordination across EY country teams.
- Develop cash tax forecasts for multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage tax payment processes, including estimated and extension payments.
- Conduct tax account reconciliations, collect supporting documents, and prepare rectification journal entries as needed.
- Assist in journal entry packages, return-to-provision entries, and submit for client approval.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or MBA Finance.
- 1–2 years of experience in US and/or Non-US direct tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of income tax accounting (ASC 740 and FIN48).
- Experience in Big 4 or industry tax environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Awareness of other US taxes beyond direct tax.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply tax legislation.
