Responsibilities
As a Caterpillar Accounting Associate (Invoice to Pay), you will:
- Manage the Invoice to Pay (ITP) process with service providers to ensure compliance and accurate delivery.
- Review, monitor, and audit vendor invoices in SAP for quality and compliance.
- Coordinate invoice processing, payment grievance resolution, and vendor reconciliation.
- Conduct quality audits to validate vendor invoice accounting accuracy.
- Use dashboards and reporting tools to monitor deliverables and identify process improvements.
- Manage payable reconciliations for aged balances, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, service providers, and business units for governance and escalation processes.
- Support process improvement initiatives to improve compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 6 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of payments, policies, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in US shifts.
Preferred:
- SAP experience in vendor invoice management.
- Experience in grief resolution and governance process handling.
- Exposure to global accounting practices and finance systems.
