Responsibilities
As an Accountant – Record to Report at Caterpillar Bangalore, you will:
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports (internal and external) in compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404).
- Ensure adherence to Caterpillar’s accounting policies and practices while collaborating with internal auditors, tax examiners, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee and evaluate accounting staff activities, providing mentorship and professional development.
- Analyze, identify, and resolve complex accounting and financial reporting challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Graduate (B.Com, M.Com, MBA) with 13+ years of RTR experience, OR
- Qualified CA/CMA with 8+ years of RTR experience.
- Shift: Ability to work EAME shift (1 PM – 10 PM IST).
- Commitment: 5-day on-site work schedule in Bangalore.
