Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports in compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Section 404) requirements.
• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures, collaborating with internal auditors, public accountants, and federal tax examiners.
• Oversee accounting staff activities, provide mentorship, and support their professional growth.
• Analyze and resolve complex accounting issues, maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring the organization’s financial reporting aligns with internal and external standards.
• Support continuous process improvements within the Record to Report (RTR) cycle for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

• Proven ability to handle large volumes of detailed financial information with precision.
• Expert in quality assurance tools and cross-checking techniques to ensure error-free reporting.

Time & Priority Management

• Extensive experience managing multiple projects concurrently, reprioritizing tasks based on shifting demands.
• Skilled in coordinating with teams to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality outputs.

Problem Solving & Accounting Expertise

• Knowledgeable in accounting processes, including financial data classification, chart of accounts maintenance, and cost monitoring.
• Experienced in financial statement preparation, analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master’s in Commerce (M.Com), or MBA in Finance.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA).
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Record to Report (RTR) processes.
• Familiarity with US shift working hours (6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Bangalore office.
