Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Cost Accounting
- Support decision-making in cost reduction programs and project cost analysis.
- Manage inventory accounting: track inventory aging, excess, surplus, and obsolescence.
- Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and manufacturing accounting metrics analysis.
Capital Management & Fixed Assets
- Ensure accurate accounting for capital expenditures in Capital Management System (CMS).
- Prepare and review fixed asset accounting papers ensuring GAAP compliance.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Compile detailed accounting analyses and generate cost reports for leadership.
- Analyze Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and support budget and forecasting activities.
- Use statistical tools and simulations to support strategic financial decisions.
Decision Support & Problem Solving
- Provide technical expertise on complex accounting issues and forecasts.
- Lead process improvements and document procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and costing challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certified Accountant (CA or CMA) with 6-8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
- Proficient in SAP FI, MM, and CO modules.
- Skilled in financial analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial data clearly.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
