Key Responsibilities
As an Account Receivable Executive at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, you will:
- Reconcile PMS daily city ledger, guest ledger, and advance deposit ledger balances.
- Prepare and circulate daily revenue journals with accurate GL code classifications.
- Verify cash settlements against deposits as per the General Cashier report.
- Ensure compliance with audit policies, procedures, and hotel credit policy.
- Validate invoices with appropriate documentation, rates, and banquet orders.
- Accurately post payments received and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Distribute listings of active receivable accounts regularly.
- Set and review credit limits for accounts receivable.
- Maintain detailed credit files for all accounts.
- Identify and report any potential financial risks or discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Hospitality Management.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or finance in hospitality.
- Pre-opening hotel experience is an advantage.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in a global work environment preferred.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage deadlines efficiently.
