🛠Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the setup and implementation of ISO standards, quality systems, and certification processes.
- Developing and enforcing the Quality Management Plan (QMP) across all project phases.
- Creating quality manuals, functional parameters, skill matrices, and JD definitions for manpower planning.
- Managing quality assurance and quality control for elevated and underground metro sections.
- Conducting quality trainings, meetings, and walk-downs to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Reviewing and issuing site notes, non-conformance reports (NCs), and quality observation reports.
- Ensuring thorough review of test reports, MTCs, 3rd party inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinating and inspecting mock-ups and sample approvals.
- Establishing and updating quality checklists for all project deliverables.
🧠Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 implementation.
- Expertise in QA/QC in civil infrastructure, especially metro and tunnel projects.
- Familiarity with standards like PSI, FOCS, and ROCS.
- Skilled in drafting and reviewing QMS documentation, quality audits, and site inspection protocols.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and conduct quality trainings effectively.
- Experience with government infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (B.E. / B.Tech).
- 10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ISO implementation, and metro/Govt project execution.
