🧩 Role Overview
As a Linux Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll take ownership of 7500+ Linux systems across IMC’s global infrastructure. You’ll design, optimize, and automate server provisioning and configuration workflows, ensuring ultra-low latency and high-availability for critical trading platforms.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise-scale Linux systems using advanced tools and scripting.
- Manage configuration automation with Puppet, Hiera, and Ansible.
- Develop Python scripts to automate infrastructure operations and integrate APIs.
- Deploy and maintain Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
- Enhance system provisioning workflows from bare metal to production.
- Support monitoring/logging infrastructure (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders via Git commits, issue tracking, and in-person collaboration.
