π Key Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at ExxonMobil Bengaluru, you will:
π§ Design & Build Scalable Data Systems
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Airflow, and Azure Data Factory
- Build data architecture that supports real-time analytics and reporting
π Automate & Optimize Workflows
- Automate data ingestion and transformation workflows using Qlik, Fivetran, or ADF
- Deliver CI/CD-enabled data pipelines with robust monitoring and error handling
πΎ Manage Cloud & On-Prem Data Systems
- Work with cloud platforms like Azure SQL, Snowflake, Postgres, Oracle
- Tune and troubleshoot queries across large datasets and multiple schemas
π Enable Business Intelligence
- Support data cleansing, enrichment, and curation to enable ongoing business use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, availability, and governance

- Advanced SQL skills for working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Expertise with Snowflake, Qlik, Fivetran, Azure Data Explorer
- Experience designing pipelines in Azure-based cloud environments
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage
- Exposure to CI/CD methodologies in a data engineering context
