🧩 Key Responsibilities
As a Teamcenter PLM Consultant, you will:
- Gather and analyze business requirements from engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Configure Siemens Teamcenter modules (BOM, Document Management, Change Management, Workflows).
- Translate business needs into Teamcenter functional specifications.
- Work with technical teams to design and implement customizations and system extensions.
- Develop user documentation, functional specifications, and user guides.
- Provide functional support during UAT, go-live, and post-deployment phases.
- Lead user training sessions and create training materials.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, and testing initiatives.
- Recommend PLM process improvements and stay updated on Teamcenter enhancements.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and work closely with system administrators and developers.
🛠️ Required Skills & Technical Tools
- Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter modules and architecture
- Strong understanding of PLM business processes: BOM, Change Management, Document Management, Workflows
- Experience in configuring and customizing Teamcenter solutions
- Exposure to CAD integrations with tools like NX, SolidWorks, CATIA
- Knowledge of scripting/configuration tools used in Teamcenter
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies
🎓 Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- 3–6 years of experience in PLM consulting or Teamcenter implementations
- Experience working in cross-functional, enterprise-level teams
- Teamcenter Certifications are a plus
