Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant – SAP FICO, you will:
- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP FICO implementations (at least 2–3 full lifecycle projects)
- Configure key components such as:
- Material Master
- Vendor Master
- Purchasing Info Records
- Price Determination
- Subcontracting
- Stock Transfers
- Integrate SAP FICO with other modules like SAP MM and SAP SD
- Write detailed functional specifications and configuration documents
- Collaborate with clients to map business processes and implement effective SAP solutions
- Provide expertise in CIN (Country India Version) for Indian taxation compliance
- Deliver high-quality SAP solutions on time and within budget
- Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement
Required Skills
SAP FICO Expertise
- Strong functional knowledge of Finance & Controlling modules in SAP
- Experience with GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, and Profit Center Accounting
Implementation Experience
- Proven success in 2–3 full cycle SAP implementations
- Ability to manage configuration independently and deliver high-quality outcomes
Documentation & Communication
- Able to produce clear functional specs, training materials, and test cases
- Strong verbal and written communication with business and technical stakeholders
Business Process Understanding
- Ability to analyze as-is and to-be processes
- Knowledge of best practices in financial operations and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Finance
- SAP FICO Certification (preferred)
- 3–7 years of SAP experience in consulting or client-facing roles
- Willingness to travel for short or long-term client engagements
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
