Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Director in SAP PPQM, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP QM (Quality Management) module implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
• Managing end-to-end SAP QM implementations specifically for power utility clients and manufacturing sectors.
• Conducting detailed business process analysis, requirements gathering, and gap analysis for SAP PP and QM.
• Designing and configuring SAP PP modules: MRP, Work Centre, Routing, Production Orders, Demand Management, Capacity Planning.
• Designing and configuring SAP QM modules: Inspection Planning, Quality Notifications, Certificates, Results Recording.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional SAP teams (MM, SD, WM, PM) for seamless integration.
• Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, go-live, and hyper care phases.
• Preparing functional specifications for custom developments and coordinating with ABAP developers.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues within defined SLAs.
• Supporting master data setup for materials, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routing.
• Training key users and developing end-user documentation.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives leveraging the latest SAP S/4HANA PPQM functionalities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and SAP QM modules.
• Proven experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management in SAP.
• Experience working within an S/4HANA environment preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of integration points with SAP modules: MM, SD, WM, PM.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Skilled in preparing detailed functional specifications and testing documentation.
• Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP QM certification is mandatory.
• Graduate degree in B.E, B.Tech or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel for short- and long-term assignments as required.
• Prior consulting industry experience is an advantage.
