Key Responsibilities

As a Workday Integration Manager at Deloitte, your key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integration solutions to meet client HR transformation needs.
• Leading the integration workstream autonomously throughout all project phases.
• Translating business requirements and functional specifications into detailed technical designs.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues across Workday HCM modules.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure seamless integration delivery.
• Developing and maintaining program code using software development best practices.
• Providing production support and incident resolution post-deployment.
• Managing and mentoring junior integration consultants and engineers.
• Leveraging expertise in Cloud Connectors, Core Connectors, Studio, EIB, XML/XSLT, Web Services APIs (REST, SOAP), and Report Writer.
• Ensuring integration solutions comply with business process configuration, security standards, and change management.
• Applying Agile and SDLC methodologies for efficient project delivery.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Workday Integration Certification OR certification in Workday HCM modules such as Absence, Compensation, Time Tracking, Benefits, Learning, or Recruiting.
• Proven 8+ years of experience in Workday integration development, functional consulting, and support.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday Cloud Connectors, Core Connectors, Studio, EIB, XML/XSLT, XPath, and Web Services technologies (REST, SOAP, WSDL, SSL, PGP, SAML).
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Business Process Configuration, and Security.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead teams, drive projects, and manage customer expectations effectively.
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Workday Studio integrations independently.
• Experience with PECI/PICOF is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile and SDLC project methodologies.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Qualifications

• Workday Integration or HCM module certification is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, HRIS, or related disciplines preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Workday integration or HR transformation consulting.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations across India.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with flexibility.
