Key Responsibilities

Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Execution

• Develop detailed systems and sub-systems checklists for pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Prepare and issue pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures aligned with project requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to meet overall project timelines.
• Provide inputs for vendor mobilization plans and schedules to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Compile Commissioning Close-out Reports documenting project completion status and key observations.

Supervision & Coordination

• Lead supervision of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and initial operations of all electrical equipment offshore.
• Coordinate with Electrical Design Engineers, Vendor Commissioning Engineers, Construction Engineers, and Client Electrical teams for successful commissioning.
• Oversee completion of check sheets and collaborate with CCMS Certification Engineers to ensure compliance and certification.

Cost Estimation & Reporting

• Prepare cost estimates related to pre-commissioning and commissioning for project proposals and budgeting.

Skills & Competencies

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience managing people and leading projects or specific commissioning tasks.
• Strong understanding of commissioning requirements and established industry practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of rotary machines and their commissioning processes.
• Ability to develop detailed procedures and technical write-ups.
• Experience in hydrocarbon sector projects including refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or fertilizer industries.
• Willingness to work on-site during pre-commissioning and commissioning execution phases.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Prior experience developing commissioning documentation or plant operation procedures.
• Familiarity with operational aspects of hydrocarbon plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
• 4 to 15 years of relevant experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning within offshore hydrocarbon projects.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills in multidisciplinary project environments.
