Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret project contract documents including specifications, drawings, and BOQ to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve document discrepancies.
- Manage approval schedules for manpower, materials, method statements, and mock-ups.
- Plan and execute finishing works based on weekly and monthly targets, detailing daily activities for smooth workflow.
- Forecast resource requirements and coordinate timely follow-up to avoid project delays.
- Prepare surfaces meticulously before commencing finishing activities, ensuring top-quality workmanship.
- Execute finishing works like tiling, plastering, and painting, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines.
- Optimize the use of company assets and resources for efficient project delivery.
- Conduct inspections with clients and consultants for approval of completed works.
- Ensure protection of finished surfaces and works until project handover.
- Identify and rectify snags promptly, managing handover documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including checklists, material reconciliation, productivity reports, and project revisions.
- Generate timely progress reports, track material consumption, and certify vendor invoices to support project finance.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE / Diploma in Civil or related field).
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on finishes and surface works.
- Strong knowledge of construction contract documents – Specs, Drawings, BOQ.
- Expertise in tiling, plastering, and finishing works.
- Excellent coordination skills with architects, consultants, and vendors.
- Proficient in project scheduling and resource planning.
